Welcome to Roy-El Morgan Farm!

Roy-El Morgan Farm began nearly fifty years ago in beautiful North Central New Mexico. Roy and Elberta Honstein, with their love of horses, nurtured this love in their daughter Debbie.
Their first Morgan horse was purchased in Santa Fe from Howard and Gladdie Eberline, his name was Stetsa. The farm has grown into a prosperous business which includes training, breeding, and showing. Debbie Honstein Seybold’s career began as a young lady showing Morgan horses. Later as an adult she became a noted trainer and judge. Both of Debbie’s daughters, Erlene Seybold, now the trainer and head instructor at Roy-El, and Elberta Seybold (now living in Santa Fe) are closely connected to the horses. They have been involved with raising, training and showing Roy-El Morgans since they were children.
Jaime Lechuga Munoz is head trainer and manager at Roy-El, working with babies on up to finished horses. Roy-El also offers a complete Stallion Station with equine reproduction lab services for all breeds.
Throughout the years, Roy-El Morgan Farm has had many National and World Champions in all divisions and continues to develop future champions as well as trail, pleasure, and carriage horses.
Our goal is breeding some of the best Morgan horses for both show and pleasure, and to support the American Morgan Horse Association in every way that we can, but especially to help people have the opportunity to know and love this wonderful horse - the Morgan Horse. Our doors are always open.
