Jack
Our buddy Simple Jack left to his new home with Melissa Rigg and Alex. We will miss him, but he is close by, and loving his new diggs.
New Mexico Horse Summit
Erlene went to ABQ for a few days, to the New Mexico Horse Summit. She was able to visit with several other horse people from around the state, listened to several very interesting presentations, and participated in overall discussions about the future of the horse industry in NM.
Roy-El at the Movies
Our field trip to see the movie War Horse was so much fun! A big group came out, Erlene and her husband Dave, Elberta Honstein and Debbie Seybold, Erlene`s cousins Robert Honstein and Laura Grey, Liz Aicher and her hubby Kevin, Melissa Rigg and her partner Joe Newman, Charlotte Rowe and her guy Rick, Josie Irwin and her daughter Molly, and Ramona, Jacob, and Elijah Maestas. Great movie, even better company!
Making Headlines in January
Nizhoni
Miss Nizhoni, the little black mustang found a new home in southern New Mexico. She is now a trail horse for San Acacia Riding Company.
SFEC
We started a new adventure, a weekly trip to the Santa Fe Equestrain Center. We are taking groups up to get the horses used to new arenas and new places. After a group lesson, we ride right off the property for a short trail ride if time allows!
Piano Recital
Charlotte Rowe graced us with her piano skills, and played three gorgeous pieces. We incorporated it with a big party. Drinks, and hors d'oeuvres, wonderful music and friends. Great way to kick off the New Year!
Dr. Nolen
All of the horses on the farm got their shots, wormed, and coggins so we are ready for this show year!
1st Show
The first show of the Winter Wooly Series was a blast: although small, everyone came home with at least one blue! The horses were great, and the riders were awesome! Can't wait till next month!
